Giving technology the ability to "see"
Radar offers many advantages over traditional basic motion detection technology (i.e PIR) making many motion detection applications smarter. These advanced capabilities enable many types of technologies such as robotics, cars, smart home devices and even lights to “see" their surroundings and responde dynamically.
Market leader in radar chips, we offer a wide portfolio of mmWave radar sensors as part of our XENSIV? family. Designed to support different industrial, home and consumer applications, highlights include the smallest 24 GHz MMIC in the market, the broadest and most integrated 24 GHz radar transceiver family currently available and the full range of automotive radar 24/77/79 GHz front-end MMICs (RASIC?) for safety-critical automotive applications applications such as automatic emergency braking to driver assistance systems.
3D vision to sense the world
Time of flight (ToF) technology measures the distance between a sensor and an object by capturing infrared light as it is reflected off a user or scanned object. Our REAL3? ToF-based 3D image sensor family brings speed and accuracy benefits to a host of consumer and mobile communication markets, especially for authentication use cases. These highly integrated single-chip imagers are manufactured in an ToF-optimized CMOS process for additional space, weight and power savings.
Moving towards autonomous driving
Measuring reflected pulses of laser light from a target, lidar sensors are a fast, highly accurate way to collect data on both moving targets and static objects. Complementing both camera and radar systems, lidar is paving the way for advanced driver assistance capabilities by dynamically scanning the environment around a car, for instance. We deliver multiple automotive-qualified components for lidar designs include the MEMS mirror, driver IC, receiver module, microcontroller and power supply system.
